Eastern New Mexico (1-1) v. Incarnate Word (FCS) (2-2)st half. Look for this to be a good game but the greyhounds will come up short.

Prediction: Eastern New Mexico 21 UIW 28

Angelo State (1-2) v. #1 Valdosta State (2-0)
Saturday, 6 p.m. Kickoff
Valdosta, GA, Bazemore-Hyder Stadium

Angelo travels to Georgia to take on the #1 team in Division 2 and the defending national champions. Overall, the Rams are spreading the ball around nicely between the run and passing game, which makes them less predictable. The defense has been having a tough time at the start of the season with stopping the pass. Coach Wagner stated that they have to eliminate the mental mistakes and come up with big plays on defense, while coming away with points when they are in the red zone. They have been doing great slowing run games down with 18 tackles for loss. The Rams will struggle trying to stop the Blazers from throwing the ball around and running the ball. The Blazers defense has been playing better than the Rams and will be the difference maker in this game. They come in this game with 10 sacks and 22 TFLs. They are also only allowing 88 yards on the ground per game. If they stop the Rams run look for the Rams to try and pass more but not being able to pass effectively against the potent Blazer defense. I see this game being a rough trip for the Rams and a third straight loss.

Prediction: Angelo State 24 Valdosta 42

Game of the Week

#4 West Texas A&M (3-0) v. Texas A&M Kingsville (3-0) Saturday, 7 p.m. Kickoff
Kingsville, TX, Javelina Stadium

For a second straight week, we have a battle of the unbeaten. WT takes the trip down to Javelina Stadium for another great LSC showdown. I expect that there will be a big crowd there for this game, as there should be. The Javelinas come into this game with a lopsided running game win last week. The Buffaloes will certainly be the best team that the Javelinas have come across this year, both offensively and defensively. The Javelina offense has jumped out early in every game this year; but, they have scored a terrible 7 points in the 3rdstPrediction: West Texas A&M 44 Texas A&M Kingsville 27st LSC trivia question. I will make this question fairly easy for all the fans. They will gradually get harder as the season progresses. Try to answer the question without looking the answer up, if possible.
