The final team is the WT Buffaloes. Lots of buzz about the Buffaloes; especially, with the QB battle, the number of transfers coming in and the transfer of RB Venric Mark.

Oct. 25 v. Texas A&M Kingsville
Nov. 1 @ ENMU
Nov. 8 - LSC Playoff
Nov. 16 - LSC Playoff

The Buffaloes start out with 2 very difficult games on the road at Pueblo (an opponent they know well) and at home against Co-LSC Champ Tarleton State. Also, the Texans have a bye in the first week and will be prepping for 2 weeks before they play WT.

We have a really great and tough schedule. We start out with a tough test against a great CSUP team in the first week. Then we host Tarleton and they will definitely be ready for us in the next week; and we will need to take each game this year one at a time in preparation.

The addition of Venric Mark from Northwestern:
For those of you living under a rock, the WT Buffaloes recruited a top-notch Division I return specialist and running back in Venric Mark. Mark is not the biggest guy but he has amazing top-notch speed as a football player. Mark will be a versatile player in a WT uniform this season and could help to be a major key, just like former running back Khiry Robinson.
Here is some research and information on Venric Mark that most people may not know.

V. Mark is a 2012 All-American Return Specialist

He led the Northwestern team in 2012 with 226 attempts for 1,366 yards and 12 TDs. He amassed 2,166 all-purpose yards with multiple special team touchdowns.

Mark led the 2012 team to a 10-3 record, one of the best seasons ever at Northwestern. The only 3 losses came to an 11 point loss to Penn State (8-4), a 1 point loss to Nebraska (10-4) and a 7 point overtime loss to Michigan (8-5). Mark lead the team and went on to win a bowl game against Mississippi State.

Mark was hurt in the early part of the season of 2013 and the team went 0-6 without him before picking up their next win and concluding the season with a 5-7 record.
