Here are the rest of the games for Week 1.

Sul Ross (0-0) v. UTPB (0-0), Saturday,
7 p.m. Kickoff

Odessa, TX

Game Analysis: This is the most difficult game to predict out of all the games. Why? UTPB is a brand new program and have no history on what they have done. The Falcons do have some Juco players and 4 year transfers coming into the program to help where needed. The Falcons will base out of a 4-2-5 defense and have some basic offensive changes, as stated by Coach Carrigan. I have to say that I am glad to have a team in the Lone Star Conference out of the Odessa/Midland area. They should make a find addition to the LSC. So, here it is, my prediction: I see the Falcons flying around fast and furious, make a few mistakes; and, emerge victorious! Welcome to the LSC, UTPB Falcons!

Prediction: UTPB 35 Sul Ross 23

Western New Mexico (0-0) v. San Diego (0-0), Saturday,
7 p.m. Kickoff

San Diego, CA

Game Analysis: The Mustangs lose QB Mitch Glassman from graduation and will be introducing a new starting QB on the season. The Mustangs return All-American wide receiver Xavier Ayers (1,356 yards and 5 TDs). The next returning receiver includes Evan Beebe (238 yards and 3 TDs). The Mustangs have several new faces on both sides of the ball and have several adjustments to make to key positions. Unfortunately, this opening game will be a difficult game to get the season going for the Mustangs.

Prediction: San Diego 42 WNMU 17
