This was a LONG road trip for the Hounds (New Mexico to West Virginia). The Greyhounds started out a little sluggish in the first half but got it done in the 2nd half. They racked up 454 rushing yards in this one. This team is 8-1 and having a stellar season. I am very proud of what this team has accomplished this season. Chins should be held high. Here is the million-dollar question: Their entire season rides on the final game next week against the top LSC team, Midwestern State. If they can find a way to win, does ENMU make the NCAA Playoffs?

Western Texas A&M (3-6) v. Angelo State (4-4): Saturday, November 4th 6PM

I think it is inevitable now that the Buffs will have their first losing season since 2004, falling to Commerce last week. This team has fought hard all year, but the offense is not there with their rebuilding model. They still have some work to do before they hang it up. The Buffs take the road trip to see Will Wagner and his Rams team. Can the Buffalo Defense step up to the task? Not to be a buzz kill but I never thought that I would ever see this statistic; WT is 11 spots from being the least offensive productive team in Division 2. This tough has lived on grit and determination all season and it shows.

The Rams have been just right there each week. They have been in each game this season and have let those 4 just slip out. This team scored 4 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter alone last week. Jake Faber got the offensive going and will hope to do so against a good WT Defense. Watch RB Josh Stevens and RB Tyrese Nathan to be key components in this game.

Game Analysis: WT comes off a loss to Commerce and ASU just beat WNMU in dominant fashion. The question is where will the WT offense be this week. I just think that Angelo has been more well-rounded and should be able to take care of the Buffs.

Game Analysis: The Lions and Falcons are trying to finish the season strong. Commerce must continue to push for the NCAA Playoffs and should already be in playoff mode for every game out. UTPB needs to have their secondary ready for this game.
