Cody Endres sneaked in from the 1-yard line with 57 seconds remaining to give Slippery Rock a 28-21 victory over Mercyhurst and a berth in the PSAC championship game in two weeks.

The Rock (8-1, 6-0 PSAC West) won their sixth in a row and clinched at least a share of the division title. California is the only team that can forge a deadlock atop the PSAC West, but 18th-ranked Slippery Rock holds the tiebreaker by virtue of its 17-3 win over the Vulcans.

Endres threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns, including two to Devin Goda. Endres' game-winning run was followed 37 seconds later by an interception by Jake Wickline that sealed the victory. Wickline finished with 14 tackles and a pair of picks.

Trevor Kennedy caught two touchdown passes for Mercyhurst (3-6, 1-5) to tie Ed Bailey's school career record with 28.

EDINBORO 42, LOCK HAVEN 7: David Bostic set school records and established conference season highs with 13 catches and 255 yards and scored three times to help Edinboro hand Lock Haven its PSAC-record 40th straight loss.

The Fighting Scots (7-2, 4-2 PSAC West) defeated the Bald Eagles for the 29th time in the past 30 meetings behind a 562-yard offensive attack that included 398 through the air on 27 of 33 passing and four touchdowns by Cody Harris.

Edinboro led 21-7 when Harris hit Bostic on a 19-yard scoring pass with 11 seconds remaining before halftime. Bostic added touchdown receptions of 41 and 74 yards in the second half.

Brandon Brader rushed for 168 yards for Lock Haven (0-8, 0-6), which broke a tie with Cheyney for the most consecutive losses in PSAC history.

CLARION 28, GANNON 21: Pat Graham-Murphy ran for 155 yards and a touchdown, and Ben Fiscus threw a scoring pass and ran for another while accounting for 262 total yards in the Clarion victory.

Fiscus completed 11 of 18 passes for 174 yards and rushed for 88 more, including a 1-yard touchdown with 8:43 left that gave the Golden Bears (2-7, 2-4 PSAC West) a 28-14 lead. Brandon Akins had broken a halftime tie with a 32-yard scoring gallop in the third quarter.

Daniel Tapscott and Ty Watson combined for throw for 390 yards and three touchdowns for Gannon (3-6, 2-4), with Lawrence Coleman catching seven balls for 194 yards and Jerry Smith adding six for 127 and two touchdowns. Clarion held Gannon to minus-14 yards on the ground.

C.W. POST 24, BLOOMSBURG 21: The Pioneers created a three-way tie for the PSAC East lead by rallying from an 11-point deficit to stun the previously undefeated and second-ranked Huskies.

Jeff Mack rushed for 183 yards, and his 3-yard touchdown run with 6:54 remaining capped the comeback for C.W. Post (5-4, 5-1 PSAC East). Bloomsburg (8-1, 5-1) managed only one first down in its final three possessions.

The Pioneers can clinch a berth in the PSAC championship game with a win over Cheyney and a Bloomsburg victory over Kutztown next week. Kutztown only needs to defeat Bloomsburg to earn the trip on the strength of its win over C.W. Post.

Steven Laurino added 194 passing yards and 75 rushing for the Pioneers.

Franklyn Quiteh rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns for Bloomsburg, but Pat Carey completed only 4 of 15 passes and was intercepted twice.

KUTZTOWN 24, WEST CHESTER 0: Kutztown turned to its ground game and a strong defensive effort to blank West Chester and move within one win of a berth in the PSAC championship game.

Kutztown (8-1, 5-1 PSAC East) can earn a trip to the title game with a win over Bloomsburg at home next week.

The 16th-ranked Golden Bears rushed for 322 yards while Kevin Morton threw only 13 times for 58 yards. Robbie Frey ran for 154 yards and a touchdown while Josh Mastromatto added 132. Morton did score on a 37-yard and added a 36-yard touchdown pass to Colby Tuell.

West Chester (4-5, 3-3) was shut out by a Division II opponent for the first time since a 6-0 loss to Millersville in 2000.

SHIPPENSBURG 40, MILLERSVILLE 0: Mike Frenette spearheaded a 391-yard rushing attack with 177 yards and two touchdowns, and Zach Zulli tied a school single-season record for touchdown passes in a rout of Millersville.

Zulli threw for only 70 yards but had three scoring passes to give him 27 on the year, tying the Shippensburg mark set by Chad DiFebbo in 2009.

Blair Brooks added 82 rushing yards and Roshaan McCain had 79 for the Raiders (5-4, 3-3 PSAC East). Marquis White ran for 65 yards for Millersville (3-6, 2-4).

EAST STROUDSBURG 10, CHEYNEY 6: Kendrick Williams rushed for 105 yards and the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter as the Warriors snapped a seven-game losing streak.

The Wolves had an opportunity to pull out the win midway through the fourth quarter when they reached the East Stroudsburg 8-yard line. But four running plays netted only six yards.

East Stroudsburg (2-7, 1-5 PSAC East) played most of the game without injured quarterback Ray Wagner, the nation's leader in total offense.

Cheyney (1-8, 0-6) managed only 118 total yards but took a first-quarter lead on a 36-yard pass from Chris Anderson to Prince Stewart.
