Through 3 weeks of interleague play the South is once again dominating the North. In years past the South has won roughly 2/3's of the game played. This season the North has won only 5 of the 24 games played, which puts them at a 20% success rate. Moorhead has 3 wins, UMD 1 and SCSU 1. The 5 remaining teams in the North are winless.
Bemidji State (0-3) at Concordia-St. Paul (1-2), NoonMinot State (0-3) at Augustana (2-1), 1pm
Minot was leading in the 2nd half last week against Concordia, but could not secure the victory. The Beavers are on their 3rd quarterback of the season and seem to be trying to find answers offensively. Defensively MSU has looked better than years past, but that still means lower half of the conference.
Augustana is 2ndMinnesota State-Mankato (3-0) at Minnesota-Crookston (0-3), 1pm
Crookston played USF tough for a half, but last week seemed to return to bottom-of-the-league form with a 45-3 loss at Upper Iowa. In that loss the Golden Eagles were limited to -3 yards rushing on 25 attempts.
The Mavs got-right against Mary a week ago 48-0. MSU was able to throw for over 300 yards and get a lot of players involved, but they did throw 3 interceptions. This game should be a continuation of last week with the Mavs getting things figured out offensively with their new parts, and dominating defensively.
Mankato 51-10
Wayne State (2-1) at Mary (0-3), 1pm
Mary is another team on its 3rd quarterback this season and the accompanying challenges. The Marauders looked real young coming into this year, so losing their veteran signal caller Zach Roberson and not having their top expected playmaker (VaShawn Pope) has really shot offensive productivity in the foot.

Wayne State had a nice rebound game (win) against Northern State last Saturday and Taylor Reedy makes his 2nd start as a Wildcat. Having weapons like RB Ryan Ludlow and WR Marcel Dunson, WSC should be able to forge ahead successfully.
