With the 2014 season about to start, it is time to look at the head coaches in the league. There are four new coaches this season, the largest crop of new coaches in years in the NE-10.

With the retirement of Rich Cavanaugh at Southern Connecticut, there is also a new dean of coaches in the NE-10. American International head coach Art Wilkins is now the most tenured coach in the league and also the leader with 128 wins over his 20 seasons in Springfield. LIU-Post head coach Bryan Collins is second in tenure as he enters his 17th season but has a slightly better winning percentage (65.7%) than Wilkins (61.8%).

Stonehill head coach Rob Talley is now third in tenure and wins in the NE-10. After a great season for the Skyhawks in 2013, his record is now at .500 over his career. St. Anselm's Pat Murphy is fourth in tenure as he enters his seventh season with the Hawks.

Of the 10 head coaches in the league, six of them are in their first or second season at their school. Of those six coaches, only Assumption's Bob Chesney had previous college head coaching experience.
