It is that time of the year again, football season. The teams have been on campus for a couple of weeks now and are preparing for the 2017 season.
It all kicks off on August 31st when Bentley travels to West Chester and St. Anselm plays at Wagner.

Here is my pick for #10 in the league in 2017:

Pace University Setters (0-11, 0-9 NE-10)

Coach: Andrew Rondeau, 4th season (2-31)

Opening Game: September 2nd vs. Millersville

2017 Schedule

2016 Stats

2017 Roster

Game to Watch: September 2nd vs. Millersville

Pace needs to focus week to week and nowhere better to start than week one of the season. They need to get out of the gates quickly and start the season on a high note.

Player to Watch: Kadeem Langhorne, DL

The junior had a solid 2016 season and hopes to continue his dominance in the trenches. He was second on the team with 72 tackles and led the NE-10 with 14.5 tackles for a loss. He also had 4.5 sacks and spent a lot of time in the opposing backfield.

Unit to Watch: Defensive Line

The Pace defensive line is one of the better units in the league. Langhorne and Jah'Sheen Martin will be anchor the front line of defense for the Setters. They have recruited some size and are getting better match-ups against opposing offensive lines.

Outlook:

Fourth year head coach Andy Rondeau has seen improvement in the program everywhere except the scoreboard. His teams are more competitive and awaiting a breakthrough. 2017 might be the season that sees them finally get a regular season league win.
