A FCS team beat up on the little guy. Urbana ruined the ability for most to go 6-0 in the Pick 'Em contest. Fairmont State and Shepherd remain undefeated; and Notre Dame is still right behind them with its lone loss to Shepherd several weeks ago. The winds were kicking around the region, but that didn't stop big passing days from quite a few teams. In the end, the results were pretty much expected which allows the excitement to continue building for the coming weeks.

It may come as no surprise that Fairmont State won this game; but the margin of victory may be a bit surprising. Apparently the clock struck midnight for the Cinderella-story Cavaliers. They fumbled away the opening kickoff (not the only team to do it on Saturday). That was followed by spotting Fairmont State two points on a safety. The rest of their first half drives resulted in 4 punts, 2 interceptions, a fumble, and a turnover-on-downs at mid-field. The offense did not cross mid-field until their 3rdGlenville State 43
