No upsets in Thursday's First Round games but it wasn't for a lack of trying on the women's side. SWOSU was down by 16 then scored 24 unanswered. Four more First Round games on Friday to determine the opponents for today's winners.

Friday gave us one upset from men's #6 UAM over #3 ECU. Overall 4 teams got their first ever GAC Tournament win: HSU women, NWOSU men, SOSU men, and SNU men.

Southern Nazarene outlasts Southeastern Oklahoma 90-86 in 2OT. Heck of a game. Jhonathon Dunn scored 35 points (chipped in 6 rebounds and 4 assists) in the win.

Agreed. Without even knowing matchups, Nazarene will lose in the first round of regionals and it might not be close.

Southern Nazarene defeats Arkansas-Monitcello 62-57.
I think the top 7 teams from the last rankings are now in, the 8th and final spot will come down to Northwestern Oklahoma and Washburn. It will be and interesting decision for the committee if Washburn does not win the MIAA Tournament.
