Not a lot of surprises to wrap up week 5 in MIAA action. NSU won their sixth straight to remain hot and the NWMS train is still rolling with a nice road win at FHSU. Washburn picks up a big win at Pitt to take sole possession of 2nd place in the conf race. Lincoln bounced back with a nice win over UCO and MO Southern survived a hot shooting Emporia State team by 3 at home. On to week 6 action.

Whew. We barely survived a hot-shooting Hornets team today (17-35 from long range). This new Emporia coach - does he put any time into coaching during the game or just complaining to the refs? Honestly he's in his first year in the league but already looks like a bigger whiner than anyone I can think of from the past decade.
