Team appears very deep this year. As with all Maverick teams, they have plenty of talent and will go as far as the chemistry allows. More specific, how do they all buy into their respective roles? They have the guys that can get it done in all areas but they haven’t out that together since 2010 (and somewhat more recently with The Pyramid and Gumby). I’m expecting Lurch to have a breakout season and become a force in the NSIC. An improved offensive presence from Augieholic’s favorite mouth-breather would make this team very dangerous and difficult to defend. We’ll see how it shakes out as we get closer to the season but it appears they have about 9-10 guys that can/will contribute.

There was a moment in the last month where I found myself perusing NSIC rosters. When I got to the Mavs remembered that Kelby Kramer existed it made me instantly excited for the season. The man is non stop entertainment.

If only Corvon Seales were still around... Most entertaining guard/post combo in the league if that were the case.

He did it 6 times against St. Cloud. But they didn’t have much defense for the pick n roll. To be fair though, he is a Kreature.
