Week 3 of MIAA play--Men's BB

The schedule is pretty sporadic this week with single games on Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs and two games on Friday. Conference play ends up being over on Monday until after Christmas break. There are two very intriguing games this week on the schedule. UCO @ Fort Hays St on Friday and MO West @ NWMS on Sat should be interesting. These four teams make up 4 of the top 5 currently in the standings with MO Southern being the other team undefeated. I feel like UCO is one of the most talented teams in the conference and Fort Hays State might be one of the most well coached teams in the conference. That makes for a really competitive tilt on Friday. Is MO West that good this year or did they start with some very winnable games? We will find out based on how they play NWMS on Sat. in Maryville.

Too bad there are so many games during break. The LU pep band/pep squad/cheerleaders really make a great atmosphere and were missed last Saturday.
