    MEN

    NSIC North Division Player of the Week
    #20 Caleb Donaldson (G, 6-4, Jr., Bloomington, Ill. / Bloomington HS) - St. Cloud State

    - Averaged 25.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in a pair of wins
    - Shot .800 (20-25) from the floor and 750 (3-4) from beyond the arc
    - Scored a season-high 31 points in a 83-78 win over UMary
    - Shot 12-of-13 from the floor and added four assists in the win over the Marauders
    - Scored 19 points on 8-12 shooting in a 82-67 win over Minot State
    - Added eight rebounds, four assists and one steal against the Beavers

    NSIC South Division Player of the Week
    #25 Tyler Riemersma (F, 6-8, 215, Sr., Bloomington, Minn./ Jefferson HS) - Augustana

    - Averaged a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds as Augustana went 2-0
    - Recorded 23 points and 13 rebounds in a 83-50 win over No. 25 MSU
    - Shot 8-of-10 from the field in the win
    - Totaled 23 points with 15 rebounds with six assists in a 75-58 win over CSP
    - Shot 67.9 percent from the field on the week
    - Averaged 4.5 assists per and 1.5 steals per game
    - Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (11/15/21)

    Other Top Performances - North

    #10 Kai Huntsberry (UMary)
    averaged 21.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in a pair of road contests last weekend. He was 18-of-33 from the floor. Hunstberry opened the weekend with 24 points and six assists at SCSU. He followed up with 19 points and five rebounds at UMD. For the season Huntsberry is averaging 19.3 ppg and 4.6 apg.

    #11 Leonard Dixon (UMC) averaged 16 points per game in two games last weekend. He buried six threes on the weekend, including four against Northern State. He averaged six rebounds against the Wolves and Dragons and is currently 11th in the conference with 2.2 3-point makes per game.

    #1 Joshua Brown (UMD) led UMD to another 2-0 weekend. Brown led the team in scoring as he averaged 21.5 points per game. Brown was very efficient from the field as he shot 15-24 from the field, including 6-13 from three-point range. He also added 4.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists. Brown has been the third leading scorer on the Bulldogs squad that is 11-0 and was ranked nationally.

    #12 Gavin Baumgartner (MSUM) averaged 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in helping MSUM to two road wins. He shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the field for the week and had 16 points in a road win at Bemidji State on Friday. Added a game-high 19 points in a 75-60 win at UMC, hitting 8-of-12 field goals.

    #23 Melvin Newbern (MINOT) led the way both nights for the Beavers, averaging 13 points and 8 rebounds for the weekend, and turning in a double-double Saturday with 21 points and 12 boards at St. Cloud State.

    #21 Jacksen Moni (NSU) averaged 18 ppg, with a weekend high of 23 points against Bemidji State. He also averaged 7 rebounds per game and he shot 54.5% from the field and an impressive 62.5% from behind the 3-point line.

    Other Top Performances - South

    #23 Matt Cartwright (USF)
    averaged 27.5 points per game with 3.0 rebounds in helping USF earn a split with Upper Iowa and Winona State. In a loss to Upper Iowa, Cartwright recorded his second straight game of 30 points or more with 31 while adding three boards and a steal. He made 11 field goals, including a career-best seven three-pointers. In a 71-57 win over Winona State, Cartwright, who has 47 career double-digit games and 17 of 20 points or more, scored 24 points with nine field goals and a pair of triples to go with three rebounds and two assists. Cartwright now has 1,065 points including a league-best 246 this season. He has made 36-of-87 triples for 41.2 percent. His 36 threes this year leads the NSIC as does his 3.3 per game.

    #5 Jareese Williams (UIU) led the Peacocks to a pair of wins on the road averaging 23 points and 7.5 rebounds while converting 19 of 21 free throw attempts. UIU defeated Sioux Falls 86-79 and then outlasted Southwest Minnesota State 82-80 to improve to 9-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Of note: Joe Smoldt averaged 20 points and 7 rebounds and made his career 300th three-pointer on Friday night.

    #23 Justin Eagins (WSC) Luke Martens (WSU) put forward a strong effort in a pair of Winona State men's basketball games on the road at Southwest Minnesota State and University of Sioux Falls. He scored 17 points in 33 minutes of action, leading his team vs. USF. He hauled in 13 rebounds total over two games, including ten vs. USF. He hit 5-of-6 free throws and notched three steals.

    WOMEN

    NSIC North Division Player of the Week
    #32 Rachael Heittola (F/C, 6-2, So., Belleville, Wis. / Belleville HS) - Bemidji State

    - Averaged 19.67 points, 4.67 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.33 blocks in three wins
    - Scored 22 points in a 86-80 win at UMC and in a 66-50 win versus NSU
    - Had four blocks versus NSU and three against UMC
    - Shot .690 percent from the field, connecting on 20-of-29 shots
    - Hit eight of her 10 shots against NSU
    - Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (11/15/21)

    NSIC South Division Player of the Week
    #23 Megan Fannin (G, 5-8, Fr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS) - Sioux Falls

    - Averaged 21 points and 4.5 rebounds in a pair of wins
    - Hit 15-of-32 field goals for 46.9 percent, including 10-of-20 from three-point range
    - Had nine rebounds, two assists and a steal on the week
    - Has now recorded 20 point games in three straight games
    - Had 20 points and six rebounds in a 73-50 win over Upper Iowa
    - Scored 22 points with three rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 74-54 win over WSU

    Other Top Performances - North

    #42 Sarah Grow (UMD)
    helped lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 weekend. In their win against Minot State, Grow had a 16 point, 10 rebound double-double. Grow also had 6 blocks on the night to anchor the Bulldogs defense. Overall, Grow averaged 14 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and 1.5 assists on the weekend. She shot 12-22 (54.5%) from the field over the weekend.

    #30 Peyton Boom (MSUM) averaged 16.0 points and 3.0 rebounds as the Dragons split on the road. She shot 50 percent (14-of-28) from the field and had 18 points in 75-62 win at Minnesota Crookston on Saturday. She has scored in double figures in six straight games.

    #44 Anna Counts (MINOT) turned in two strong performances in the paint averaging 8 rebounds per game for the Beavers and 9.5 points per game. At St. Cloud State on Saturday she grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with 8 points, and Friday she had 11 points and 6 rebounds at Minnesota Duluth.

    #4 Lexi Roe (NSU) #2 Tori Wortz (SCSU) Other Top Performances - South

    #32 Aislinn Duffy (AUGIE)
    averaged 26.5 points and 17.5 rebounds last weekend in losses to Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul. She scored a career-high 28 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and was one rebound short of tying the school record for single-game rebounds (22) against Minnesota State. Duffy averaged over 40 minutes in the weekends contests and shot 50 percent from three-point land.

    #10 Maddy Olson (MSU) averaged 14 points in wins against Augustana and Wayne State. She led team with seven steals this past weekend (7th in NSIC in steals). She tied for team high in rebounds with 10. She went a perfect 8 for 8 from the free throw line and 8-19 from the field good for 42.1% and 30.8% from three point range.

    #14 Sam Wall (SMSU) scored 23 points in just 25 minutes in a pair of victories over WSU and UIU. She scored a team-high and season-high 12 points in a 75-51 win over UIU Saturday. She shot 57 percent from behind the arc in two games (4 of 7) and led a bench unit that would outscore the opponents bench 66-16 in two games.

    #3 Lydia Haack (UIU) averaged 16 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals per game in 34.5 minutes per game. She shot 13-26 (50%) from the floor, 1-3 (33.3%) from three, and 5-6 (83.3%) from the free throw line. She scored a game-high 17 points on 8-13 shooting against USF before notching 15 points and 5 steals against SMSU, the mosta rips by a Peacock since the 2017-18 season.

    #5 Kylie Hammer (WSC)#11 Emily Kieck (WSU) went for a season-high 21 points versus Sioux Falls. She had a season season-high 12 attempts from the floor versus SMSU as she logged a season-high a 37 minutes vs. USF.
