It's one season. Hell, it's not even one season, we're 4 games into the season. Is there reason to be concerned for this season and disappointed with the way it has started? Certainly. Is the sky falling? The last time I went outside it wasn't.

For the record, I've missed maybe 3 or 4 home games since I graduated in 2001, have gone to at least 2 or 3 road games every year including several Thu/Sat trips to St. Joe's and Indy, Cedarville and Central State, and already have hotel room booked in Canton for the Walsh/Malone series in February. I am "captain" level in the Panther Athletic Fund and have floor seat season tix behind the KWC bench. Does that qualify me to "offer my honest critique on this season's KWC team"?
Absolutely, you can offer any opinion you want, Cap!

Do you know where KWC sits in the G-MAC overall standings in all sports thus far this academic season? I will tell you. Dead Last!

I also wrote a check to the PAF. It was just a $1,000. So, maybe you have me beat.

I am also very quick to praise. Don't call me out as a hater! You call your own alums or supporters out, unless you graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College. Leave me out of any discussion concerning KWC. I don't speak for anyone other than myself, and that's all I need. I don't live in a sugar cane candy house.

I am not a Happy hater. However, when a team like KWC, with their tradition, starts the season the way this season's KWC team has, I can PROMISE you there are plenty of concerned alumni and supporters who are not happy. No one is more enthusiastic about KWC basketball than myself who are not on the pay roll.

We are not used to getting blown out by 30 points against ANY D2 team. Write that down.

I just want to see the coaching credentials of these people. That is all.
Huh? Happy was coaching NAIA before KWC. Not saying Georgetown was not a pretty good program but you can't say he is the 6th winningest(?) coach in DII when those wins didn't come from DII competition.

Are the coaches afraid of getting beat?? Looks like we may be down for awhile maybe now they will schedule us. I do hope the GLVC and the G-MAC crossovers will continue. I hope they have contracts for the future. We will see if thses big schools will continue to visit G-MAC towns for games. Wayne State knew it was not wise to play AB there but they got wacked anyway.
KWC left the arrangement whereby they played Indy, Bell, USI, Lewis twice per year, every year. It was KWC that stopped those games, not the other way around. That's a fact.

Cedarville WBB was ahead of #1 Ashland with 1.4 seconds left. Ashland had 3/4 chances to win the game. Several tough calls allowed Ashland to pull it out. Said it before say it again G-MAC future looks very bright.

As for Watson, yeah the USI guys go overboard, but I've seen his teams play for years and I wouldn't want him coaching my team either. Wait a second...now that I look at that record, I'm not sure who you're talking about. No way Watson has 589 wins as a head coach....not even close.

And for full disclosure, the GLIAC went 14-10 on the men's side in-region for the three day stretch.

Ohio Valley will face Rockhurst in the NCAA Midwest Final in men's soccer.

Findlay qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs. The Oilers got a tough draw in Shepherd.

Posters can say this-that-and-the other, but the league expanded and made itself much better. The GLVC went 12-12 in men's in-region play this weekend. The G-MAC went 5-11 in men's in-region play.

One thing we know for certain is that a good amount of posters on this board will be ate up with taking pot shots at a head coach that has gone 589-117 in all of his years as a head coach.

If you count Friday, yes. What I said was Saturday and Sunday, which is after your KWC friend popped off about the GLVC not wanting to play the GMAC any longer. Either way, it's a losing record and his statement was foolish.

Findlay is likely a top 10 team, and Hillsdale has long been a solid prorgam. It remains to be seen what the rest of the GMAC holds.

And since someone brought up women's basketball, the GLVC went 3-5 against G-MAC women's teams. The G-MAC teams that participated here were rated 2,4,6 and 11 in the pre-season poll.
I was just giving props to a very young Drury Women's Basketball team. 8 of 11 are underclassmen.
