If you look at the current standings, I could take exception to this comment - but I won't based upon the fact that CU's remaining games are Hillsdale, Findlay and Malone. That's a tough road.

As an MEC fan who popped in to check on your GMAC thread, I can say that you've gotten your wish so far. The MEC teams have been cannibalizing each other all season long. It's a real mess in the MEC right now, which certainly opens the door for KWU. But what also possibly shuts the door for KWU is the possibility that the MEC continues to cannibalize itself right down to crowning a tourney winner (and auto-bid recipient) who isn't otherwise on the watch list. A deep tourney run from, say, West Virginia State is your worst nightmare right now.

I have to say I was surprised to see we are in the first rankings. What is this "under consideration" BS? Can they not just do a regular ranking? Why are they making everything so weird this year

Or, we could go play at Findlay without even getting off the bus and let them make us look like absolute morons who couldn't win a rec league let alone a D2 conference tourney. How lovely.

Yeah. Which does NOT make sense. You're playing the same # of rounds, just with some teams getting byes in the first. I don't see the point. Do 64, or do 32 ... but 48 is dumb.

So our 'chance' yet again this year is to win the conference tourney. Which is not impossible but is definitely a long shot.

I saw that. Going to be a little odd. But it makes sense.

Nope; the rest of the tournament will be at Findlay, and Malone beat Cedarville so we will be playing Malone!
