ALPINE, TEXAS - Western New Mexico University's men's basketball team opened up LSC play against the the Sul Ross Lobos Saturday afternoon still searching to get in the win column in 2024. The Mustangs would go into half trailing by 13 points, but a resurgent team would emerge from the locker room, shooting a remarkable 50% from the field in the second half, defeating Sul Ross State, 69-57, securing the Mustangs first win of the season. - c/o WNMU athletics
