Dixie wins at home, 78-73. Wolves just can't shoot it this year, 35 percent (again) from the floor, 30% (10 of 33) from 3-point land. Seriously, guys, quit launching 3's. Omlid is also struggling shooting this year (4 for 14 vs. Dixie) despite the double-figure games. The new transfers guards can't hit the broad side of a barn.
I knew losing last year's best outside shooter -- Alex Roth -- to injury this year was going to hurt, but it's hurting worse than I thought. I hope he plays next year because right now, few people can shoot on this year's team. Could be a long year, but I'll continue to support coach Shaw and the team and look forward to catching the UAA-WOU game in Monmouth this year.
