  • Former SPU star Miller playing well at WSU

Former Seattle Pacific star Tony Miller has found a home at WSU after one non-playing year at Montana. Miller had back-to-back double-figure games this past week in Pac-12 play vs. USC and UCLA. He leads the team in FG pct. I went to the UCLA game and he was excellent, dunking a few times, and going around and over UCLA's vaunted 4-star recruits.

They've found a nice 6th-man role for him at the 4 spot. He actually plays the same or more minutes than the guy starting ahead of him. WSU doesn't have much height so Miller plays down low, where he's really affective, his jumping ability really comes into play there. I thought leaving Montana was a mistake as I heard he was dominating practices up there, but he's obviously found a great home at WSU. He certainly was an excellent player at SPU.

    * Today Miller was rewarded for his play with a scholarship, nice work!
