NABC national poll

OK, is the NABC poll legit? That's the coaches' poll. Do they use the NABC national poll as a guideline for the regional rankings, and who does the regional rankings? Coaches? I'm not clear on all this. Through Feb. 10th games -- Point Loma 12th (will drop after home loss), St. Martin's 14th (might rise), Chaminade 22nd (might rise or stay the same).

NABC poll has zero to do with the NCAA regional rankings. Typically, not much correlation between that poll and the official ones except for the out-and-out obvious.

Thanks. Who are voting in the regional polls, coaches? When does the official regional ranking come out?

official rankings come out next Wednesday I believe. There usually is a committee of people of coaches and Athletic Directors that follow some computer formula on strength of schedule.
