Wolves had a lead at half and couldn't close the deal against a good WWU team. Three Wolves in double figures (Omlid 19 points/12 boards) but four players in double figures for WWU, including 25 off the bench from Dickson.

WOU again struggles from the floor and 3-point line, 41% from the floor, 32% from 3-point line. The much-shorter Wolves won the rebounding battle, 36-34, but the Vikings hit 52 percent from the floor.

Good effort by WOU and it was nice to see 900 show up in Monmouth.

Excellent effort by the Wolves, if they could've shot just 45 percent, they win. They hustle well, but the inability to shoot really hurts them. Hoping they find some shooters down the stretch, doubtful at this stage of the game. They are who they are.
