Thread on UAF coach Mick Durham below, long 16-year career at Montana State, going 246-213, with 9 of those winning seasons, three 20-win (or more) seasons, and a 19-win season; two regular season league titles, one tourney champion; and in 1995-96, MSU's last berth in the NCAA tournament. After going 20-10 in 2001-02 (winning the Big Sky regular season title), Durham went 11-16, 14-13, 14-14, and 15-15, which cost him his job. Looking at the position historically, the guy Durham succeeded (Stu Starner) had much less success than Mick. The guy who succeeded Durham, Brad Huse, went 107-133 in 8 years with one winning season, one .500 year, and six losing seaons. The most wins he had in a season were 15. Current coach Brian Fish is in his third year, going 7-23, 14-17, and currently 9-12. MSU is not Glory Road when it comes to men's hoops.
