NCAA D2 proposing season of competition rule change for transfers...

this will allow the D1 transfer in football 4 game redshirt to not lose a season in football, a win for D2 football...

However - D3 kids transfering that practiced only at D3 and lost a season due to D3 rules, will now lose a season to play D2...

They definitely need to work on the D3 transfer stuff for sure. I think you will see more D1 FCS players now playing in D2 after their freshman year.

They definitely need to work and rectify that D3 transfer rule for a kid who sits out as a true freshman, no way he should only have 3 years left at a D2 school. To counter that if a kid is forced to redshirt as a freshman at a D3 school outside of being a QB, chances are he probably wouldn't get much immediate PT at a D2 school anyways but at least make it a leveled field for all.
