  • Is it time now for Conference Carolinas to get their own subsection?

First season for the new football conference is this year...

No doubt! Some of the Conference Carolinas fans that I know are ready for their own CC Football Thread.

While it is certainly true that CC needs to be added, I'm not sure if Chuck Bitner and/or Matt Witwicki have that level of access to the message board at this time.

I'd think that it will happen on or around July 1, which as I recall is when the GMAC was added in their first season as a football-sponsoring conference.

Craig, this is something that Chuck and I are looking into going forward..since 2024 was a season in which we were trying to just keep the message board running, with Brandon out = the person who ran the forums.

We are in the process of seeing if Brandon can login and make the addition of CC or to get us the security role changes to look into adding another conference to the settings. Brandon was the only person will all the full blown admin settings enabled.

Our focus this last 9 months since his stroke was primarily on covering D2 football news via our content and the upkeep of the main page.

          Appreciate the reminder.

I'd gotten used to UNC Pembroke playing football in the MEC, but I wish them well in the CC. It'll be more convenient for them and that's what matter$.

My Braves bud was talking about this the other day. While he's very excited about getting things started and possibly competing for a conference championship in Conference Carolina, he spoke very highly and appreciative of the time they spent as a part of MEC Football.

                Any update on Brandon's recovery?

Please keep him in your prayers. ๐Ÿ™

Sorry folks, I just assume everyone whoโ€™s on the forum also has the type of football curiosity that they are on Twitter also..which has become the top place for ncaa football news in general.

                  Anyway,

I drove from where I live in Sioux Falls SD down to the KC area to visit my good friend Brandon. I contacted a new people that are closer to Brandon such as our old National columnist Bob Eblen, our current MIAA guy Jon Dykstra, and others..and we had a belated birthday for our guy Brandon. He still doesnโ€™t have movement on the left side of his body, which is an ongoing problem, but we had Smokehouse BBQ brought over to his rehab facility and had a get-together in a meeting area. It was all good and a surprise for our guy. pics at the link below.
