After only two weeks the sample size is pretty small, but here is a look at the team stats for conference schools. You can see how rough of a road some teams have had when they're 0-2 and 1-1 but still statistically at the top of the conference.

I'm surprised to see that AB isn't dead last in EVERY defensive category. We went from being one of the best D's in D2 last year to just awful this year.

I love these stats! KWC is in 4.5 place in the G-MAC and they opened against a D1 OVC team. I expect ODU to rise in the near future.

ODU just has such a rough schedule. The GMAC slate gives them a nice reset button once they get to league play. Subscribers of "iron sharpens iron" have to believe once they get to next Saturday with Lake Erie they will be more than battle tested. They just have to hope they aren't too banged up by that point.

AB beat Lincoln today, that should boost their stats somewhat. Go Battlers!
