Let's get it started a little early.

Big game with Tiffin and Hillsdale.

I will be following the ABU and Walsh game. Big battle for two teams that would like to finish in the middle of the conference standings.

National D2 columnist Bobby E picks Hillsdale over Tiffin in his weekly blog. I don't know what his overall record is, but sometimes his pick is a jinx, or at least it feels that way. He always has pretty good insight into what's happening in D2.
I wanted to pick AB, but I just don't feel comfortable with them being on the road vs Walsh. The Cavs have had some success this year.

I will be at the Hillsdale-Tiffin battle, too. Expect a great game with two evenly matched, play-off caliber teams. Forecast is for a great fall day - dry, about 50 degrees F with partly sunny sky ... are you ready for some football?!?

Early updates, 7-7 in Findlay, and it appears that the Chargers have an early lead 7-6.

ABU answers with a Czelusniak keep on 4th and 1 and runs for a long TD. Walsh up 14-6 after missed XP. AB's defense needs to get it going.

I knew that I should have changed my pick...Storm down 27-0 at the end of 1. Chargers extend their lead 14-9 in Tiffin.

Oilers add another, 21-10 Oilers early in the second.

Benson adds another for Findlay, 28-10, Oilers in the second. Malone having trouble stopping the Oilers run game. Benson has all four TDs, and 184 yards on the ground, while Bridges has 79 yards on only 4 carries as well, with 8 minutes still left in the second.

Hillsdale up 17-9 in the second.

Tiffin up 19 - 17 at the half. Hillsdale to open 2nd half. Great battle between two tough teams!
