The Oilers, as well as, the conference has been tough to read thus far. As for the Oilers, you have a team that went on the road and nearly pulled off a huge upset against the #2 team in the nation. They come back home and jump all over Northwood, but then let Northwood come back and make a game of it late. That slow finish appeared to carry over to, yet another, disappointing performance against ODU, who the Oilers appear to have no answer for since they came to the GLIAC. They seem to get back on track against AB, hanging 75 points on the board, only to then struggle a little bit aganist KWU and Walsh. The Oilers better find some consistency quick, because these next 5 weeks are brutal between Hillsdale, Notre Dame, Ashland, Tiffin, and with Lake Erie sandwiched in there. If the Oilers play this up and down performance game, they could easily come out of these next 5 weeks 1-4 to finish the season.

Yeah, I'm trying not to think of that tough end of the season schedule.
