On the way back up to Va last week, hopped off the craziness of 95 & drove up thru Pembroke NC to check out their facilities.
They were having regional HS track championships at Johnson Stadium so it was pretty busy but was able to see that it is a very capable stadium that looks like it could hold more than the stated 2500 capacity.
Was able to walk thru their football bldg at one end of the stadium, met their LB coach Al Medina who was very gracious in letting me check out the place & we talked a little D2 ball stuff.
Pembroke has a nice training facility & impressive large weight room, lots of meeting rooms, offices, etc.
Overall, they have a top notch D2 setting that should definitely be able to help in the recruiting process!
It was nice to see another school's setup & MEC teams will probably be impressed after the long! ride come 2020.
