PHILIPPI, W.Va- Head Coach Travis Everhart and the Alderson Broaddus Football team announced coaching staff additions for the 2022 season. Dan Rowe has been promoted to full time Defensive Coordinator. Otherwise, the coaching staff has some new faces for the spring season, heading into the fall 2022 season. The spring practice season began on Wednesday, March 16th, bright and early at 6:30 AM.
Will Anglin has been hired as the Corners Coach/Video Coordinator for the Battlers. Anglin was most recently the Safeties Coach and Special Teams Coach at Louisiana Christian University. Anglin was a safety in college, playing at Northwestern State University.
Codey Cole has joined as Defensive Line Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. Cole finished his playing career with the Kansas Jayhawks as a defensive lineman. Cole most recently was a Defensive Line Assistant with Northern Illinois University.
Jalen Kindle joins AB from the University of Delaware, where he is now the Linebackers Coach/Director of Player Development and Outreach. Kindle played and coached for the Blue Hens, where he was a linebacker until graduating in 2017, then becoming the Defensive Quality Control/Assistant Linebackers Coach.
DL Knock joins Coach Everhart's staff as the Wide Receivers Coach/Special Teams Coordinator. Knock was most recently a Graduate Assistant at Waynesburg University.
Tate Leavitt has joined the staff as Offensive Line Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Leavitt most recently coached the offensive line at Hocking College.
Lastly, Trey Shuff is the new Tight Ends and Running Backs Coach/Director of Football Operations.
Spring ball for Alderson Broaddus Football will consist of 15 practices leading up to the Spring Game on Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 PM. Information regarding practice times and dates can be found on AB Football social media accounts, (@ABFootball).
