Week 2 was the first week of NE10 league play, and already we might have had the game of the year with the 3-OT thriller between Stonehill and St. Anselm.

1. Bentley over Southern CT State 24-22 - Seamus Leary put on the Superman cape and brought Bentley's offense from the dead
2. Post over AIC 33-8 - Post ground out a victory over the Yellowjackets
3. New Haven over Pace 36-10 - New Haven kept the mistakes to a minimum against a Pace team that kept it close early.
4. Stonehill over St. Anselm 57-54, 3 OT - Possible game of the year candidate
5. Assumption over Merrimack 49-19 - Looks like Assumption figured out whatever problems plagued them in Week 1

1. St. Anselm (0-1 overall, 0-1 NE10) at Assumption (1-1, 1-0), 7:00 PM - Assumption tries to keep scoring and go to 2-0 in conference play.
Saturday, Sept. 15:
1. Southern CT State (1-1, 0-1) at New Haven (1-1, 1-0), 12:00 PM - The last time SCSU held the Elm City Trophy was 2009, but SCSU has shown enough to have a solid chance in this one.
2. Pace (1-1, 0-1) at AIC (0-1, 0-1), 12:00 PM - Both teams looking for their first conference win
3. Merrimack (0-2, 0-1) at Bentley (1-1, 1-0), 2:00 PM - Bentley looking to keep the momentum going from last week.
4. LIU-Post (1-0, 1-0) at Stonehill (1-1, 1-0), 6:00 PM - How many points will be scored this week?
