AIC was still in the game almost 3 quarters of the football game, thanks to New Haven's defense. Robinson threw 4 picks and AIC had no running game were the difference. New Haven defense is still a suspect. The Chargers gave up some big plays thought out the game. Degenhardt had a great game with 6 passing touchdowns, although he was sack 3 times. New Haven OL needs some works to protect the qb better, specially when they play the Falcons of Bentley this Friday. New Haven has to limit those turnovers and penalties because they had too many. AIC played hard but needs to work on their running game. Good win for the Chargers and we will see a better picture of where they stand after 2 tough opponents in Bentley and St, Anselm for the next 2 weekends.

St. Anselm shuts out FPU 27-0. Will be favored over SCSU next week and could be 4-0 when they host New Haven in two weeks (if the Chargers get past Bentley…not so sure about that right now).

AIC played well in the 40 minutes of the game. They went toe to toe with New Haven but the Chargers are too deep for AIC. They just have too many weapons and put them on display yesterday.

They absolutely did. As a matter of fact, at one point, I thought AIC might win the game because they had so much momentum but the punt return for a touchdown by New Haven seemed to be the end for AIC the rest of the game.
