  • NE10 Week 3 Game Thread

The Elm City Trophy is on the line, Assumption tries their luck with a national titan in the "Brian Kelly Bowl", Franklin Pierce tries to match last year's win total, Bentley looks to not be Post's first victim, and AIC goes for a winning streak.

    First kickoff at noon!

Grand Valley up 7-0 on Assumption. Assumption defense keeping them close after GV scored on a long TD pass in their first series.

Bentley up 13-0 on Post. Free admission if you're in Waterbury today...I can tell you the Post football field is pretty nice (they play a lot of high school games there).

GV adds a field goal, they're up 10-0. Assumption not moving the ball well.

New Haven scores but the point after hit the upright after SCSU partially blocked it. Offense looking a lot better - I think they've made some adjustments in play calls.

SCSU up 7-6 late in the second.

Bentley apparently trying to set a record for 4th down attempts. I think they are 4 for 5 in the 1st half. One of them was a 4th & 2 on their own 10.

GVSU up 23-0. Assumption is slowing them a little, but can’t stop GV from scoring.

NH now up 20-7. Menard actually made a throw that looked like he’s a real QB!
