Assumption punt returner fielded a punt at his own 8 and then fumbled it. St. Anselm returned the fumble for a TD and lead 7-0 with 1 minute left in the first.

Bentley up 10-6 early. Sal Lupoli got a pick deep in AIC territory and the Falcons scored a TD.

It looks like the weather at Assumption is bad, but St. Anselm has to at least try to throw it once in a while.

Assumption’s punter fumbled the snap at their 20. St. A’s deep in Assumption territory but their QB fumbled the next snap. St. A’s still has the ball up 7-0, 10 minutes left in the second.

            Bentley up 13-6

St. A’s comes up empty on the turnover, still 7-0. Looks like points are going to be hard to come by.

Assumption blocks a field goal (surprised they even tried it). St. A’s still up 7-0. Assumption has three turnovers.

St. A’s up 7-0 at the half. Teams having trouble just holding onto the ball. Hawks should be up more with the Assumption turnovers, but the weather plays no favorites.

                  Bentley up 23-6 now.

2 minutes left in the third. St. A’s has the best drive of the day and are now up 14-0. Got about 35 yards running the Wildcat on the drive.

Through 3, St. A’s up 14-0 with the ball. The big difference is the St. A’s running game and the Hawks haven’t lost the ball yet.

St. A’s has found something with these Wildcat plays.

Strip sack for St. A’s. They have it at the Assumption 33 with 3 minutes left up 14-0. Looks like the Hawks are in the NE10 driver’s seat now.
