Early second and New Haven had a long FG try blocked after a good punt return put them into position to score. Still can’t move the ball much and the defense is keeping it close. Still 7-0 Rock.

Seems like there’s a New Haven penalty on every play now? Another 3 and out with about a billion penalty boards.

5 minutes left in the half. Rock misses a FG try and it’s still 7-0. New Haven defense the only reason they have a shot so far. Offense looks slow.

Another promising drive killed by penalties, particularly a weird illegal forward pass where Menard caught a deflected pass and threw it away.

Halftime, 7-0 Rock and the Chargers are lucky it’s that close.

Chargers need to get some offense going or they will be doomed. This is exactly what they couldn’t have happen to them.

Menard leads the Chargers to answer, TD catch by Caines. 14-7 Rock with 6 minutes left in the third.

Chargers can’t defend the long pass today. Rock has had 4 or 5 bombs caught for long gains.

Menard hits the home run ball and the WR fumbles it out of the end zone. Rock gets the ball back on the turnover instead of a tie game. Absolute killer.
