I can isolate myself in many ways and still do a broadcast. I'm not worried about myself...I'll be there. My partner and I are already working on contingencies!

If the season started tomorrow, would you grab the microphone or give up your job to somebody else who was willing to accept the risk? I suppose we'll find out this fall.

That was not my insinuation, and only perverted thinking would come to that conclusion. My insinuation was that you want football despite knowing that it causes injury and death, but you are willing to accept that risk. And that makes your cries of "it just isn't safe for the players" very hollow.

If you told Alabama football players that they could either get infected with COVID-19 or have a 50% chance of obtaining a season ending injury during the first month of the season, every one of them would drink from the COVID-19 bottle.

It does, just not as much as the elderly. Also, no deaths in Pa. under age 25. https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/dis...a-Archive.aspx

Positive Cases by Age Range to Date

    ?Age Range ?Percent of Cases*
    ?0-4 ?< 1%
    ?5-12 ?< 1%
    ?13-18 ?2%
    ?19-24 6%
    ?25-49 ?37%
    ?50-64 ?25%
    ?65+ ?28%

All those guys could be cleared to re-join the team in a couple weeks. They will have a quarantine period and be evaluated.

Or, on the more crude side, Alabama will just add replacements.
