The CIAA has opened up the search/selection process for the 2025 - 2027 Football Championship location. The game has been in Salem, VA for some years now and prior to that it had a long run in Durham (outside of the one off attempt to have the game in Winston-Salem but the Brawl in the Stall ended that one).
I had hopes that the game would do well in Salem, but I think it's time to move on. From a geographic perspective and likelihood of attracting casual fans, I think going back to Durham County Stadium makes the most sense.
I also think Richmond could be a great location if there is a viable option for a neutral field. The City Stadium/U of R's old stadium would be ideal, but it looks like it might have been converted to a soccer only field.
