I believe VUU will take a hit this season. They lost a lot and WSSU brought in a load of talent in the offseason. The conference race is going to be interesting and more competitive than most people think it will be.

Agree with gsutiger. VUU lost a lot of talent, I predict they will be more middle of the pack. I'd give JCSU the slight advantage right now, but there's probably still a lot more off-season moves that will happen amongst the CIAA members.

In 7 seasons I dont think VUU have been a middle of the pack team. My VSU TROJANS are reloading!!

I talked to coach Massey last week, and he went after "size" on the O & D lines through the portal. WSSU's Spring game is tomorrow (04\05\25) and hopefully we'll get a look at some of the new transfers.

Man have you checked out that transfer portal list, they lost some talent? Plus, I'm pretty certain Byers 4 years is up and I think their QB has exhausted his eligibility (granted they had a decent backup who should be back).

Yeah see but them coaches over there know what they are doing. Coaching matters!! Our RB (J Williams)left to go to Elon and haven't practice yet because of his injury.

VUU's staff knows how to evaluate talent, that's for sure. The question will be how quickly they can gel.

Its so early to tell, but I like some of the things that have happened so far. Bluefield brought in Matt Finnin, the former OC at ECSU to be their OC. Shaw at 7 may be a bit much given what they have lost so far and a first year HC. Fayetteville has alot of soul searching to do.
