VSU @ Shorter Thread

This will be first 2 day road trip for the Blazers. Hopefully, the team will work on those areas that need improvement this week and execute on Saturday. Can't let the opponent determine the level of play. Don't overlook them and execute the game plan!!

A side note some may not know. Former VSU quarterback, Jake Medlock, is now the assistant receivers coach at Shorter.

Jake Medlock is awesome. Energy levels are off the charts.

Without an injury in the playoffs of his senior year we'd have had the potential for him to lead us at quarterback to a deep run in the playoffs.

Agree. Jake is one of the true warriors out there. Even with an injury that last game, he was not going down!!

After Jarmar Thompkins was called for 2 unsportsmanlike penalties, I am sure Coach Goff put in complaint/review with the NCAA. Wonder if he will start, or miss the first half.
