        • I do think VSU will see this map and realize they could have several conference foes closer to them in the ASUN. Heck, even DSU and UWA fill out the map nicely.

          I’m not sure all three would be interested but I do hear that VSU has considered the move recently. That said, there is a moratorium through Jan. of next year currently in place.

          • Under the present circumstances, I doubt VSU will be making any changes soon.

            "Valdosta State University (VSU) has faced significant budget cuts as part of broader University System of Georgia (USG) reductions, compounded by declining enrollment. These financial pressures, including a $66 million system-wide cut reported in 2023, have forced the university to manage tighter teaching budgets and explore restructuring to align with reduced state funding."
