  • Marble game for D2 football?

Took a look and my initial thought is how would the game account for strength of schedule? UCF played one decent team the year they went undefeated, Georgia Tech. I'm thinking about what could be done that isn't subjective. Here are some Ideas:
    1) Give the Power 5 more marbles at the outset
    2) Give more marbles for P5 win
    3) At the end of the season. Tabulate the conference net OOC. Each team in conferences with a net win receives the tallied amount of marbles (if the Big10 is +2 each team gets 2 marbles) and teams in conferences with a net loss gives marbles (if the ACC is -2 each team gives two marbles). You would calculate each conference's net by giving 3 marbles for each power 5 OOC win, 2 for other FBS wins and 1 for FCS wins and subtracting the inverse for losses.

There were four, one loss teams in the playoffs that year but who would you have left out. Oklahoma probably had the least amount of marbles, doubt it would have been Georgia, Clemson or Alabama?

[/quote] Would you be okay if that logic were applied to VSU?

But that's why we have real playoffs :-)
