It just seemed like our guys were really on tonight. We've seen good teams lay an egg especially when on the road. I remember Dean's teams did that for a half a few times, and had to fight back in the second half. A couple times ended up losing games they shouldn't have.

Two things. I think you had to be at the game to see it.
            1. The VSU OL was unreal. They were opening up holes like there was no tomorrow. They are clicking right now.
            2. DSU looks like they have lost their spirit. From the beginning, they looked they were just going through the motions. We talked about it in the stands. Come on Okra. This is not you. Finish this year strong and start a new attitude.

Have to give a shout out to the team tonight......only 2 penalties!!! Yay!
Have been concerned about those 8-12 penalties we've been getting.

To me this is the most amazing statistic, Coach nipped that problem in the bud

Yep. This team seems to be very coachable. I watched them last week and how they listen to the coaches on the sidelines. All eyes focused on the coach.

That is something that in the old days, you would have never seen out of Delta.

                        Some tidbits from last night.......

--Seth McGill is now 9th in rushing yards, passing Rogan Wells.

--Buzz Saunds has passed Sean Pender(7th) in receiving yards with 2,082.

--Jamar Thompkins just passed Vontrell Mitchell for 7th most rushing yard at 2,666 yards.

--Linebacker, Nick Moss had a career high 17 tackles and 8 solo stops. Nick entered the game ranked 29th nationally.

--Senior Cory Roberts had 9 solo tackles with 11 overall.

-- The 401 yards rushing by the offense is 2nd in VSU all time history only to 466 against Shorter in 2019

-- The opening kickoff for a touchdown is the only one since the Albany St. game in 2014.

--Last night was the most lopsided win over DSU since 2001. 70-12.

75 against Lock Haven, and Grand Valley (6) put up 70 against Northwood.

That was certainly an impressive win, VSU looked unstoppable and that D has to be one of the best in D2. If the Blazers play like that the Argos will have to play better than they have all season just to make it completive. Unlike VSU the Argos still shot themselves in the foot with penalties, (5-50) in the first half, which negated an 80 yard TD and several other big plays.

It is amazing that something so simple can disrupt a whole game plan. Nice to see the Blazers get better this week.
