2026 GSC Schedule

UWA has a game with Monroe. They are transitioning from JUCO to D-II. They are in NY.

I ‘put a bug in the ear’ of one of the NW assistants about how great a VSU @ NWMSU game this year and a NWMSU @ VSU game next year could be.

Looks like DSU was able to finally add a 9th game. They have to travel all the way to Maryland to get it done on Halloween night. I think we really need a 10th game.
It’s beyond ridiculous how hard it is for them to fill out a schedule.

That was a good get for Delta since Frostburg State made the national quarterfinals last year.

I was hoping NE State would schedule them for their 8th D2 game instead of a NAIA game.

I talked with my ole UNC-Pembroke buddy about their upcoming season, and afterwards he brought up the years that the Braves played D2 football as an Independent. He said it was always an ongoing challenge. When they had some successful seasons, it was hard to get some teams to schedule them. You always worried about keeping scheduling partners. It's much better for the Braves these days.

I am overjoyed to know that. I'm in Cleveland, I talk to Mr. Lewis regularly. He is doing a fantastic job at DSU. I have seen so many positive changes. Dr. Ennis is doing a fantastic job.
