First of all let me say how disappointed in seeing the Bulldogs taking The Eagles by 2 points. With that said, congratulations Wingate on a well fought out game.

Now, I decided to watch the Catawba Indians visiting the UNCP Braves game, and I was shocked to see the Indians defense being so inept in stopping the Braves running game. This helped the Braves in controlling the the time and game while they rolled to a 28-14 victory. I'm not sure if this game was indicative of how additional conference games may go, or how bad the Indians may be the rest of the season, or how good the Braves may be. Time will tell and we shall see.

I fear we are in for a rough season. You only mentioned the issues you observed on defense. there are issues on offense as well
