Weird that VSU's win over D1 Norfolk State hurts them, but thus is the way of the ratings. Gonna be a big game up in Richmond between VSU and VUU later this year.

It doesn't help them either. Games against non D2 schools are nothing more than

1. Schedule fillers
2. Money fillers

For record, VSU is 12th in SR2. Currently have Bowie over them at 11.

Would love to see more matchups of regions 1 and 2. We played West Chester a few times but that’s about it. I think LR and NDC should schedule a game. I would love to see us play SlipperyRock or Shepherd in the near future. If there was a way to get some funding through a TV deal it would be great to have more out of conference matchups. The HB schools seem to be able to get funding from networks to have some big games. D2 needs more coverage to help with the costs to have top ranked schools play each other from different regions.
