Harding at Henderson State Thursday

OK here we go. The start of the 2018 season is upon us.

The Reddies are coming off a poor to HSU standards year. The Reddies are back for redemption.

This years opening game with Harding will be a test as usual. HU likes playing in Arkadelphia. I hope that changes this year.

We will have our O tested right out of the gates. I think our defense will be good and that will help, but let's hope Harding is having some growing pains on this 1st game.

I pray that no player on either side of the field has a serious injury.

Let's go Reddies!!!!

I predict a pretty low scoring affair. Henderson normally does a pretty good job with the triple. Especially with extra time to prepare. HU defense I believe will give Henderson O some real fits.

I think in the ball park of 24-14 HU

Honestly I don't think it'll be close. I think 27-14, maybe 27-10 Harding wins it relatively easy.

Having said that it's really impossible to tell. Both teams are breaking in new play makers. I just don't think all that highly of HSU this year.

I wasn't impressed with their QB, I could be wrong and we shall see.

Sounds like Henderson may have a year or two to go on offense with a whole new OL and QB.

I didn't see any mention of returning OL for Harding. Do they return a lot up front?

Well we only bring back 10 and signed the top tackler in all of Juco. Should be so so on D.

Not worried about their defense. Only worried about ours. We will score against everybody including Harding. If our defense is at any way better than last year, we have a legit shot of repeating.
