SWOSU @ UAM - SWOSU falls at UAM - toughest place to play in the GAC (35-21)

SNU @ ECU - Just like they have in the first two weeks, ECU will find a way to lose this one. I expect them to out-gain the pesky SNU offense, but turnovers will prove costly yet again (28-24)

NW @ OUA - As much as I hate to say it, Ouachita wins in a blow-out. For the last two years, NW has played them tough. Don't see it happening again. (49-17)

ATU @ HSU - Tech slows down HSU's electric receivers and win a tight one. HSU = one of the worst home teams in the nation. Not impressed with the HSU defense (28-21)

HARDING @ SAU - Revenge from last year - SAU offense is not the same - Harding shuts down the run and wins big (35-7)

OKBU @ SE - Overrated OKBU comes up short again (31-21)

Overall I agree except I think HSU wins by 14 or more. SAU will probably loose this game, but it being at home for SAU and Family Day, it will probably be closer like a 35-27.

ECU is on the right track. It was not turnovers this week though. We gave up the big play early on defense, but SWOSU did not score another touchdown after the 1st quarter. We blocked two punts and gained two interceptions, but the story on offense this week was red zone average. ECU was 2-6 as opposed to SWOSU only getting there twice, but scoring both times.

It is frustrating how close we are to getting a quality win, but we will get there. SNU coming to town for homecoming, I like our chances.

Im with TigerGuy. ECU has to figure out how to score in the redzone. Could very easily be 2-0 had we score on 1 of the trips to the redzone the first 2 games. I think ECU wins this week and wins big. Love this team, young and tenacious. They don't give up and they have a ton of talent including the BEST player in the conference. I got ECU winning 35-7.

Who are you calling the "Best player in the conference?"

We are young, but the talent is definitely there. Obviously Mookie, but another young talent making big plays is true Sophomore WR #9 Jayquan Lincoln. He has a lot of football left in his career, and is currently leading the Tigers in almost all receiving stats. The true freshman QB #8 Kenny Hrncir is a tough dual threat QB we haven't had since the likes of Spencer Bond. Hrncir is tough and football savvy, but still making the freshman mistake here and there. Defensively we have a young star at ILB. True Freshman #54 Devon Rush. I saw him play in a 5A-1 State Championship game in Texas and loved the way he played. I was extremely excited that ECU was getting him. He is getting a lot of reps and making the most of them. The sophomore safety Cameron Jones is also really impressing me as well. There are others making plays, but those are the ones sticking out to me. I am excited for the future of the program.

I think SAU will play us better than previously thought. While the Harding defense has played very well and I think they should be able to stop SAU ground game. The offense has been pretty poor thus far. Way too many dumb penalties, and the whole switching QB's during UAM was a terrible coaching decision, especially with plugging the transfer QB who has been in the offense for a total of 2 months. While we may have ran for 300 yards we have yet to really play with anything on offense that resembles the ground games of old. Hopefully that changes with SAU but if they continue to shuffle or slow playing it could be a long night for the Bisons

Mookie Douglas from ECU. Kid is an absolute stud, but he can definitely be stopped

I haven't seen anything on Monticello this year, but the SWOSU-Monticello have been pretty close in recent years. It's a very tough road trip. I want to go with my Dawgs, but I think Monticello will pull it out 28-24. I think it will be a really close game though.

He has 300 all-purpose yards so far. Mookie will get to 1500 all-purpose yards. At this level, he won't be stopped. Slowed down, yes, but not stopped.

I'd wager he's under 100 yards against HU.

He had 99 yds in 2017 against HU with only 18 targets.. He is getting about 24 a game now.
