ONCEATIGER25... Pump the breaks, man. Mookie is a great player! The only thing he has around him right now is potential. We don't have a reliable QB. I'm not even sure who is starting this week. Both the young guns now have awesome potential, but thats it.

I actually thought the backup QB looked better on Saturday.

Our QB is number 5 in the conference in total offense? He missed the 2nd half of the SWOSU game due to what seemed like an injury and then the 2nd quarter of OBU because of the same thing. The kid has missed pretty much a full game. He's solid. ECU is just lucky enough to have 2 QBs that are talented enough to play and play well. Everyone that close to the program knows who the QB is.

Trust me guy. I know the quality player that Kenny is a will continue to grow to be. They also play the other kid in games too, which I'm not a fan of, but I get it. Kenny sat second half of SWOSU due to injury. As I was on the sideline, I could tell he could not go.

I think we have to step back and kind of let go of the stats. Yes, Kenny, mookie and the Gang has put up nice numbers, especially compared to previous years. However, look at the defenses we have played. OKBU 12th, SNU 10th, SWOSU 9th, NWOSU 7th, UAM 6th. Outside of ATU, every team we play moving forward has a top 5 defense. Expect those stats to drop some, and potentially the scores to not be as close.

I know you are about to say I'm not a "true Tiger", but step back and truly evaluate. We have some talented young men that are going to be great players for us one day, but right now all we have is potential in some spots, and QB is one of them. Mookie is a great player. I know Jayquan Lincoln well, and he is going to be a great receiver for us. I have watched bout Mookie and Linc play football for the last 4 years now in HS and at ECU.

They are both talented young players. I do think Hrncir is better, but it is nice to have options like that with your back up.

The word "UNSTOPPABLE" was not used. I said he may be slowed down but not stopped. He was slowed down vs OBU, but not stopped. A couple penalties on some 10-15 yd runs from Mookie stopped him from getting to 100 all purpose.
