  • OBU at ATU

21-0 at the end of the first quarter. ATU hasn’t made a 1st down yet, so I think we can say the defense isn’t having any kind of “off” start after a huge HU game.

21-0 at half. The O and D have lifted on the pedal a bit. ATU did manage to pick up some 1st downs and get to the red zone towards the end of the half, but threw a pick in the end zone.

38-7 final. 1st team O stayed in till 4th QTR, but D went to the bench in the 3rd. TenBarge was the starter and got some good experience. Started 7-7 in the air, but as the game opened up, there were some “let’s give it try” kinda throws. No major mistakes on his part, so overall a pretty good game for the freshman. Givens looked good against ATU with 3 TDs (and almost one throwing).

On a down note, an OBU LB had a runner roll up on his legs and the game was stopped for quite a while to deal with the injury. Hopefully nothing major, but they weren’t talking about it one way or the other.

It was his head. They took him off on a stretcher. Praying it’s nothing major.
