Howdy, Fellas.

Will give this a whirl since I'm back writing these every week anyway. I enter the fray with the following disclaimer:

Somewhere in the '08 or '09 range, I was talking to then GV HC Chuck Martin, and actually asked him for advice on picking a couple of that week's GLIAC games. He gave me a quizzical look, shrugged his shoulders, and told me "there's no way in hell ANYONE can pick this league...how do you expect ME to be able to do it?". It was vintage Chuck, and we had a good laugh over it.

I guess if the guy who is watching tape of everyone and knows how to beat those teams can't pick'em, there's hope for the rest of us. If any of you need a disclaimer prior to the season (or at any other point for that matter), feel free to shamelessly steal mine.

Successfully picking this league continues to be tricky, but that's what makes it great. Should be fun like always.
