You know he’s right about passing. Passing is scary. That’s why most of the nation does it (this is an exceptionally tough generation compared to the wusses of old). Your offensive line has to back up off the ball and belly guard defenders, this is a much harder skill than moving a grown man against his will from point A to B. Harding runs the ball because we are weak and scared. We don’t have the guts or toughness to pass it 30 plus times a game. It’s simply too hard and that’s why we stick to easy baby ball where we can run all day away from the big scary men in the other colors. This guy definitely has a bead on us and he’s right. It’s easy to rush for 6000 yards in a season and to be on track to rush for 7000 this year, and that’s exactly why we do it. If we were good we’d be balanced and get into shoot outs where time of possession and wear and tear on the opponents defense doesn’t start to become a huge factor by mid third quarter. But alas we are not good and we are too dumb being from Arkansas to even scheme up a fancy successful passing play. That’s why we pass when we are losing, we finally decide to grow a pair and play big boy football. I just pray we can not play scary football and we can just get a nice and easy 450 yards on the ground in Big Rapids and fly home like the cowards we are.
